Usually the name of the maker is actually stitched into the hat and the logo of the design becomes very important to those who purchase the hat.

* Popularity - Fashion can change in an instant and trends tend to come and go. Usually the industry goes in circles and hats from previous years come into fashion again. The more popular the style or type hat becomes, the more you well end up paying. In some cases the hat may become so popular that cheaper brands make similar hats for reasonable and affordable prices.

If you are looking for a new hat, you have a variety of options. You can check malls, department stores, online shops, and local shops for a variety of hats to choose from; however, there are some who have found ways to get more expensive hats for a great deal. If you are to purchase a used hat, you can find some great deals. You local Goodwill or Salvation Army may be a treasure trove and you can find some amazing hats for very cheap prices.

During the summer there are usually a variety of yard sales and garage sales. You may want to check out various sales in your area to see what kind of hats you can find. The internet is also an excellent place to look for some great both used and worn. Without having to shell out the full price, you can find a very expensive hat in this manner.

If you decide to shop at stores such as Dior, Prada, or Gucci, you will find that the prices will be very high, especially to the prices at the mall. Location can also have a great deal to do with the price of a hat as well. Many times you can find some great deals in New York City, or even in other countries as well.
